Description

A tremendous Cognac that shows a luscious golden yellow in the glass. On the nose there’s vanilla, spice and some dried fruit on the initial aromas. The body manages to be both powerful and serious whilst retaining a light and elegant touch. Finishes well with a little tickle of fire from the spirit.

12YO Kilkerran, Campbeltown Single Malt

Single Malt

On the nose oak is the dominant, followed by toasted marshmallows and dried fruit pudding, as well as cherries, marzipan and a hint of peat. The palate is initially fruity with citrus notes and orange peel, followed by vanilla, butterscotch, honeycomb and digestive biscuits. To finish, it is velvety and smooth with lemon meringue as well as an oiliness and a saltiness that you’d expect from a Campbeltown dram.
