The concentrated palate is layered with flavours of sweet tropical fruit, bright lemon and lime, and crunchy green apple. With a zesty minerality, this wine leads to a pure, lively, and focused dry finish that has both freshness and length.

2023 Kumeu Village Pinot Gris, Kumeu

Pinot Gris/Pinot Grigio

The Kumeu Village Pinot Gris is an utterly delicious example of the grape.  Lively stone fruit and exotic notes on the nose and palate with a beautiful texture that adds weight without detracting from the purity and freshness of fruit.  This is lovely to drink on it's own but also a stellar match to a number of dishes, including spicy foods.

2022 Gonzo Combat Rouge, Vandal Wine Company

Red Blend

The Gonzo Combat Rouge is a rather unusual field blend of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Viognier which are co-fermented with whole bunch fermentation.  The results is a beautifully supple yet plush and ripe red wine with sweet, spicy raspberry and cherry fruit. We've found it drinks best slightly chilled on a warm evening.

This Pinot Noir was born in the dramatic soils and slopes of the Waikari Estate in North Canterbury and was made following biodynamic principles to allow vineyards to express themselves.
