Description
The Blanc de Blancs is our favourite wine in the Henriot stable by a long shot. With a high proportion of reserve wines included and over 2/3rds of the cuvee coming from either Grand or Premier Cru vineyards it is little wonder that we enjoy it so much!
The nose expresses freshness with delicate citrus fruit and white fleshed peach notes. The freshness continues on the palate with great clarity as the lemon hint continues and melts into notes of buttery brioche. Beautiful length and wonderfully rounded in the mouth.

Based in the southerly Aube region, they make approachable, terrific value wines from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This wonderful introduction to their range shows expressive brioche, green apple and quince fruit and has wonderfully balanced acidity. Germar Breton are certainly a Champagne House to keep an eye on.

Minimal intervention and no malolactic fermentation means that the wines are clean and lively with a distinct purity. This amazing rosé has wonderful red fruit (strawberry and raspberry) character with hints of rose petal and baked apple. The palate contains a bit of weight and a creamy texture making it great as a food wine.
