The 2019 Niepoort Vintage Port has a brilliant appearance with a dark purple rim and concentrated depth of colour. The aroma is fine and subdued with only a hint of primary dark fruits and some spice. The true potential and style of this wine really comes together on the palate with wonderful integration of dark fruits with a grainy tannic structure, pairing volume with amazing balance and elegance and an impressive finish. In conclusion, the primary fruit on the palate is appealing at this stage, but it’s the balanced tannic structure which indicates great ageing potential for the future.

The Blandy's 5 year old Rich Reserva is a Decanter Magazine Gold Medal winning Madeira from one of the islands finest producers.  Made with a 50/50 blend of Malmsey and Bual this is a sweet, rich and silky smooth fortified wine with excellent balanced acidity keeping the wine fresh and lively.  This is a Madeira for immediate enjoyment and shows the typical dried fruits, toffee and spice one would expect.  Delicious on its own as an after dinner drink, or with rich chocolate puddings and cheese.

The Moscatel Do Douro 5 Anos, Niepoort is characterised by its unmistakable Muscat aromas, with floral and citrussy notes with hints of nuts, spice and honey adding further complexity. The palate is of quintessential Niepoort style: excellent structure, high acidity and a long finish which emphasises its delicate and refreshing character. This wine is reminiscent of an Auslese-style wine and is ideal as an end to a beautiful dinner after various wines and Ports have been enjoyed.
