Description
The Sancerre Terre de Maimbray is a beautifully delicate expression of Sauvignon Blanc. White flowers and citrus on the nose lead to a lively palate with mineral notes, a touch of spice and perfectly poised acidity.
Founded in 1985 by Pascal Reverdy, this winery began as a small, family-run estate in the hamlet of Maimbray, within the Sancerre appellation.
In 1993, Pascal’s brother, Nicolas, joined the business, helping to grow the domaine’s reputation for quality and terroir-driven wines. Together, the brothers cultivated vineyards rooted in tradition, with a strong commitment to sustainable viticulture and precision in winemaking. Tragedy struck in 2007 when Nicolas was killed in a vineyard accident. In the wake of his death, his widow Sophie stepped in to help run the estate alongside Pascal and his wife Nathalie. Their combined efforts ensured the continuity and spirit of the domaine, honoring Nicolas’s legacy while guiding the estate into a new chapter.

2020 Chateau Saransot-Dupre, Listrac Medoc, Magnum
Bordeaux Blend
Chateau Saransot-Dupre is a favourably sited 17 hectares property that lies between Fourcas Dupré and Fourcas Hosten in Listrac. Due to Listrac’s cooler temperatures, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are favoured over Cabernet Sauvignon to form the majority of the blend, helping them achieve optimum ripeness. Much like Chateau Fourcas Hosten, the wines have improved year on year since 2010 and the property were put on the radar thanks to a certain Robert Parker hailing the 2010 vintage as 'classed growth quality'. High praise indeed!

Pinot Noir
The grapes for this wine are hand harvested from 2 parcels in the heart of Mercurey where the soil is clay and limestone. They spend 10-15 days fermenting in the tank before being put into French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. The wine then spends 12 months in barrel before being blended and bottled.
