The Petali Assyrtiko is a superb example of the grape. Cool fermented in stainless steel then aged on fine lees for 3 months prior to bottling. The result is a wine which is impeccably balanced, showing zippy citrus and stone fruit flavours, mineral undertones and telltale saline freshness. This is an ultra-refreshing and hugely enjoyable wine that suits a variety of mediterranean dishes.

On the nose the Manda Chuva frmo Heredade de Portocarro is very mineral-like with saline tinges and white fleshed fruits. The palate is imposing, assertive and has superb minerality.
