Description

The Muscadet Cuvee Prestige from Domaine de la Bretonniere is a classic, crisp Muscadet that is typically pale with a greenish hue to it.  The nose is intense and complex leading to a not overtly fruit driven palate which is very crisp, fresh and impeccably balanced.

“Now this is exciting! Golden peaches, jasmine and gently grilled white almonds spill over the edges of the glass in a cloud of perfume. The wine is tingling with life, with a tiny electric current. Charming my socks off with its prettiness and delicately ripe, juicy fruit and the undertow of nuttiness. Rock salt and cumin seeds. This has focus, direction, a jewelled structure, racy acidity and gorgeous fruit. Bravo!”
