On the palate this is a complex wine, with perfectly poised acidity, soft tannins and fruit character in perfect harmony.

The Rioja Blanco Fermentado en Barrica from the amazing Bodegas Martinez Lacuesta is a pale greenish yellow colour with a touch of toasted oak over mellow fresh fruit on the nose. In the mouth, it is initially fresh, with the well integrated oak building in prominence in the mid-palate. The floral fruit character carries through to the well-balanced finish.
