Le Pitre Primitivo is one of Mottura's flagship wines and is very complex, velvety and full-bodied, with an intense nose of sweet jammy red fruits, blackberry and chocolate along with black pepper spice. Well-balanced and powerful, with soft tannins that tends to sweetness. A beautiful Primitivo which is definitely up there as one of the best.

The Trastullo Primitivo is a wonderful example of this luscious grape variety.  Packed with blackberry and cherry fruit that is given a little extra depth courtesy of the use of a small amount of dried grapes from a secondary harvest.  The result is a beautifully balanced wine which is full and rich yet approachable and hugely enjoyable.
