The Fels Am from Anton Waldschutz is a fuller expression of Gruner Veltliner with some added depth and texture due to 6 months ageing on lees.  There's so much to excite here, with a nose of exotic fruits, spice and dried herbs.  The palate is full, round and rich yet doesn't lack any of the spiciness one would expect from the grape.  This is delicious now but could age gracefully for years to come.

The Von Eckhof Gruner Veltliner from Ecker Eckhof is a delicious, textbook example of the grape with refreshing, zippy citrus fruit, lovely texture and typical white pepper notes on the finish.  The grapes are hand harvested from south facing slopes and undergo a long, cool fermentation in stainless steel.  The wine therefore retains freshness and purity.
