This Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore 'Canova' is part of the 'Gold Label' range from Ca dei Maghi, representing the finest wines of this remarkable property.  This is a luscious, ethereal red based on Corvina and shows a wealth of silky red fruits, raisined undertones and perfect balance - pure class!  Hand harvested in October, the wine is fermented in stainless steel and then spends 4 years in oak resting on the Amarone marc, giving a wonderful depth and concentration.

Rizzardi's Amarone Classico 3CRU is made from hand-picked grapes from the three vineyards of Calcarole, Pojega & Rovereti. After the traditional grape drying period the wine undergoes a long fermentation followed by three years maturation in oak.

The Cuvee XV Bardolino from Guerrieri Rizzardi is a wonderfully approachable, easy drinking red wine made with predominantly Corvina, Rondinella and a splash of Merlot.  The pretty hillside vineyards overlooking Lake Garda produce wonderfully fresh and aromatic wines with elegant red fruits and finely balanced, refreshing acidity.  This delicate red should be enjoyed within a couple of years of the vintage.
