Briottet are rightly famous for producing the finest Crèmes de Cassis. Years ago the family chose the unique Noir de Bourgogne Blackcurrant variety as it produces the finest aromas and depth of flavour. For the last 20 years three farmers have exclusively supplied the blackcurrants, which make the Briottet Crème de Cassis.

12YO Kilkerran, Campbeltown Single Malt

Single Malt

On the nose oak is the dominant, followed by toasted marshmallows and dried fruit pudding, as well as cherries, marzipan and a hint of peat. The palate is initially fruity with citrus notes and orange peel, followed by vanilla, butterscotch, honeycomb and digestive biscuits. To finish, it is velvety and smooth with lemon meringue as well as an oiliness and a saltiness that you’d expect from a Campbeltown dram.

VS Armagnac, Veuve Goudoulin

The nose is light and bright, with notes of old oak, spice, and orange zest. The palate is fairly dry with some herbal notes, leading to a creamy, caramel tinged finish.

This Cherry Eau de vie is from one of the most respected distillers in France. Beautiful purity of fruit and being aged in glass demijohns for three to four years allows the alcohol to mellow and fully integrate with the fruit.
