3 Sources Macabeu, Domaine Nadal Hainault, Roussillon – Zippy and fresh, this low intervention white is lively and fruit packed yet light on its feet.

Falanghina del Sannio ‘Aicon’, Cantine Guardiense – Almost dangerously easy to drink, this perky white has lots of pear and citrus fruits with delicate floral aromatics.

Funkstille Gruner Veltliner, Austria – A ‘house’ favourite, this zesty white is a terrific introduction to the grape and almost universally popular.

Lomond Estate SSV, Cape Agulhas – An impeccable blend of mostly Sauvignon Blanc with the addition of Semillon and a dash of Viognier. 

Proposis White, Voyatzi Estate, Macedonia – Assyrtiko is given a little extra texture and weight thanks to Chardoonay in the blend, and a lift courtesy of a titchy bit of Sauvignon.  International yet rooted in northern Greece. 

Vinho Verde, Casa Vilacetinho – Textbook Vinho Verde tha is zesty and fresh with delicate alcohol levels.
