The complex nose shows aromas of apple, lemon and grapefruit, with a very fine and delicate floral background. The acidity is keen and fresh yet perfectly balanced with a fruity sweetness on the finish.

The Mencia 'Silk' from Bodegas Adria in Bierzo is an intense garnet colour in the core with youthful purple edges. Interesting and complex on the nose with red fruits together with balsamic touches and aromas vanilla. There's a lovely balance of fruit, acidity and gentle tannins on the finish.
