Since it was established in 1932, Nals Margreid has focused on creating variety and terroir driven wines from South Tyrol, where Italy’s northernmost wine-growing region borders on the Alps and the Dolomites. 170 hectares (65% white wine, 35% red wine) are cultivated in vineyards between 250-900 meters above sea level.  The growers´ knowledge and passion in the vineyards, combined with an acute attention to detail in the winery, results in authentic wines from fourteen different areas in Alto Adige.

The ormanni property has been owned by the Brini Batacchi family for the last 200 years and covers an area of 242 hecters of land, 68 of which are vineyards dedicated solely to the cultivation of Sangiovese.

The Caparzo Sangiovese Toscana is a bright ruby colour with pretty hints of violet. The nose is intense and fruity with ripe blackberries, wild strawberries and spice. The medium-bodied palate has a warm brambly feel, full of soft ripe fruit and a peristant spice to the finish. Easy drinking.
