We have a regularly changing selection of wines available on tap from our wine wall in the shop. You are welcome to bring your own bottle to refill or use one of ours for a small deposit. When you buy wine in this way you are dramatically reducing your carbon footprint, not only by reusing your bottles, but also due to the vastly reduced shipping and packaging costs. It is both cheaper and more ecologically sound to transport wine in this way. From a consumer point of view, one 20 litre keg will remove 16kgs of glass, 26 capsules, 26 closures, 26 labels and 1.6kg of cardboard from the recyling bin! Not only are you reducing your carbon footprint and perhaps feeling a little more righteous on recyling day, you’ll aslo be saving roughly 10 – 15 % on the equivalent bottles if they were filled at the winery!
