There’s no hiding the class of this little gem from Maury, a commune that sits at the foot of the Pyrenees. It’s a blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 20% Carignan from vines of up to 45 years old and shows plenty of rounded fruit, a balanced spicy backbone with underlying minerality and impeccable finish.

Domaine de Fontsainte make effortlessly classy wines from their well-sited vineyards in Corbieres. Protected by pine forests and planted on gravelly soils which help regulate the temperature, the Domaine's vineyards really do impart flavour into the wines grown there, making for scented and elegant reflections of the land. This wonderful rosé is made from 90% Grenache Gris and 5% each of Carignan and Mouvedre and has lovely nectarine, cherry and bergamot scnets alongside thyme and rosemary and hints of rock rose. Incredibly drinkable on it's own, this delicious rose also lends itself to drinking with food, especially dishes with a salty edge to them.

The climate is Mediterranean, dry and hot during summer, but more temperate due to it's proximity to the sea.
