Kurtatsch Kellerei Cantina is a medium sized co-operative with 190 members working 190 hectares in Alto Adige DOC in North East Italy that has been in existence for over a 100 years. The Schiava Sonntaler vines are between 60 and 90 years old with low yields but excellent quality fruit.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Rose, Villa Wolf has a short period on the skins to create a beautiful pale salmon pink colour, the juice is run off and fermented at a cool temperature in stainless steel.  The wine is a beautiful balance of generous juicy red fruits, hints of mineral undertones and crisp, thirst quenching acidity. This is one to be filed in the 'Dangerously Drinkable' category.

Vincent Roussely is the fourth generation of the family to make wines at this beautiful 8 hectare vineyard site in the heart of Chenonceaux on the Cher River. Since 2007 he has farmed his vineyards by hand, machine and horse and as a result has seen the health of his vineyards and grapes have improved immeasurably, which naturally has a direct influence on the wines he produces. Planted mainly to Sauvignon Blanc, the soil is a mixture of clay and limestone with pockets of Silex where his oldest vineyards are situated, many of which are over 80 years old in the case of the cuvee Chenonceaux.
