The Jaume family have been making wine here since 1826 and still own the same vineyards; some of the vines are now over 100 years old. Christophe Jaume is the sixth generation of his family to make wine at this domaine.
This superb value white, a blend of Roussanne, Viognier and Clairette, has been a regular feature of our list for several vintages thanks to it’s wonderful balance of delicate floral aromatics, peach and stone fruit flavours and balanced fresh acidity.

2020 gavi ‘pian lazzarino’, azienda agricola ghio
Organic and biodynamic this is a wonderful single vineyard Gavi. The wine sees extra ageing on it's lees for added depth and texture, and whilst it's not a blockbuster there is plenty of depth and complexity.
