The Chardonnay by Olivier Coste from Languedoc is unoaked, yet with a lovely creamy texture,generous fruit and well balanced acidity on the finish.  This is one of those wines which makes you wonder why anyone dislikes Chardonnay!


Olivier Coste’s family has been farming in the Languedoc since 1701 and Olivier is a twelfth generation winemaker who has a profound attachment to the Languedoc terroir with an unerring focus on sustainability. At the estate near Beziers, energy used by his domaine is 100% renewable, farming is organic and biodiversity is encouraged through tree planting and wilderness preservation.

Domaine de la Bretonniere have been making wine in the Loire for generations.  With an utmost respect for the environment and meticulous attention to detail in the vineyard they are able to produce vibrant, crisp wines with lovely pure fruit and crisp, balanced acidity.  The Cap A l'Ouest Sauvignon is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris and has a bright, pale yellow appearance with golden reflections. The intense bouquet of flowers and lychee follow through to the generous palate that manages to be powerful and fruit-forward whilst retaining freshness and zip with long lasting acidity.
