The complex palate is well-structured with a fine mousse and long finish. Wow, Bride Valley have truly excelled in this vintage with their Blanc de Blancs.  Distinctly elegant with a beautifully balanced citrus and creamy palate, notes of toasty brioche with green apple and stone fruit.  Crisp and fresh initially, the palate builds to give a well rounded, textured wine with a zesty, sherbert tinged finish.  It is a deserved winner of multiple awards including a Gold at the IEWA (Independent English Wine Awards) and also the coveted 'Best in Show'.

The nose is complex with ripe gala apple and poached pear. Some floral notes of apple blossom and honey suckle. A seriousness here too, with wet beach pebbles and toasted granary bread. A well-integrated orchard fruit acidity. Confected apple, some creaminess and great texture. A lovely salinity and citrus balances well. Some light brioche and almond notes too.

Fournillon have 23 hectares of vines in Chablis in the cool, north of burgundy and are predominantly producers of classic, steely Chablis (see our fantastic value 'house' Chablis), but they also produce some red and this delicious cremant from 100% Pinot Noir.  All fruit is hand-harvested and vinified carefully to produce an easy drinking, fruit-forward fizz that is well balanced and nicely rounded with a fine mousse.  Excellent as an apertif.

Il Pestifero, the 'naughty boy' Pét-Nat, is part of Tavignano's 'I Love Monsters' line devoted to rediscovering older, traditional winemaking methods through modern technologies. The organic grapes are hand harvested with only the top quality selected, before primary vinification at a controlled temperature. The wine is bottled with residual sugar and undergoes a natural second fermentation in bottle for a period of two months. It is not disgorged or filtered.

The grapes for the Lete Vautrain Brut 204 are harvested by hand and sorted prior to fermentation at a cool temperature, and ageing on lees takes place for a minimum of 36 months.  The wine shows a lovely deep golden hue in the glass with apple, peach and apricot fruit complemented by dried fruits and classic biscuity notes.  A well balanced, complex and rounded Champagne that is the perfect aperitif style.
